Miles charged the Skitty, his back catching on fire as he went. The flames caught him off guard for a second, and Leonie was quick enough to dodge his attack. She spun around, delivering a Double Slap attack to the back of the Tepig's head. The fire around him quickly went out. he scrambled to find his footing again, caught himself, and turned. When he raced towards her again, Leonie dropped into a crouch to meet him.

Her movements were swift. Leonie, with the help of Faint Attack, ducked behind Miles and knocked him to the ground. He hit it with a hard thump and lay winded. But not for long. A quick sweep of his tail knocked the Skitty's feet out from under her. Miles took advantage of the confusion to scramble up to his feet, while Leonie remained on the ground, her haunches tense, ready to spring out at him if need be.
